Peshawar: Peshawar police have arrested an Afghan woman doctor in connection with the murder of an Afghan national in Chamkani on September 20, claiming that she allegedly lured the victim through a honey trap before having him killed.
According to police, the woman, who holds an MBBS degree, was allegedly involved in the murder and a case has been registered against her.
Police said the suspect told investigators during interrogation that the victim had been involved in the murder of her father in 1999. She allegedly said she had the victim killed to avenge her father’s death.
Police have formed special teams to arrest other suspects allegedly involved in the murder, while further investigation was underway.
