MULTAN:A one day training on International Indexing of Research Journals was conducted at The Women University Multan (WUM).
The Resource Person was Dr. Shafia Arshad, Incharhe of IUB Journals (Faculty of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences) from Islamia University Bahawalpur.
She guided the editorial teams including Chief Editors of WUM Journals (Alhidaya, Armaghan, Pakistan Journal of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Journal of Nanoscope, Frontiers in Chemical Sciences, Annals of Social Sciences and Perspective, International Journal of Linguistic and Culture, Journal of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics, Journal of Statistics Computing and Interdisciplinary Research, Journal of Mathematics, Perennial Journal of History) who were present in the meeting.
Dr. Shafia gives hands-on training about how to enhance the citations of WUM Journals by enhancing the global visibility and connectivity by providing thorough guidance on indexing platforms like Google Scholar, Site Factor, index Copernicus, DOAJ and various international indexes tools from the US, Russia, UK, and Europe were applied while giving training.
Dr Maryam Zain WUM Journal Commiitee, Incharge and Director Academics appreciated the effort by commenting that by this way Women University Multan Journals will have access to all research platforms of the world.
Acting VC, Dr Kalsoom Piracha said that the training will be helpful in making a positive image of Pakistan and research visibility all around the world. In this way, all advanced countries will have access to Pakistan’s research.
