MUZAFERGARH: A twelve days anti-measles and rubella drive has been launched from November 15 in Sarwer shaheed tehsil like other cities of the Punjab.
“Over 21734 children between nine months to 15 years will be vaccinated under the drive in chowk Sarwer shaheed city, ” MS Tehsil headquarter hospital(THQ) Dr. Zia Anjum chowk Sarwer shaheed stated this while chairing vaccination arrangements meeting in his office on Tuesday.
He said that 15 teams have been formed with in the limits of Municipal committee which will go door to door to vaccinate 21734 children across the tehsil. He said that incumbent government was striving hard to eradicate the pandemics. The government was fully aware from the harmful results of these diseases and was taking all possible steps to fight against them .He also said that health sector was being encouraged by the government for the prevention of said pandemics.
MS also appealed to people for cooperation with the health teams.
