Al-Khidmat Foundation distributes wedding gifts among deserving families

PESHAWAR: Al-Khidmat Foundation Women Wing on Saturday held a ceremony to distribute wedding packages among 30 needy families in Peshawar.In-charge Al-Khidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust, Nasreen Murad handed over wedding gifts among deserving families.Speaking on the occasion, In-charge Al-Khidmat Foundation, Nasreen Murad, highlighted various welfare activities of the foundation under which wedding gifts were distributed among 30 families after every three months with the help of support of philanthropists.She said under orphans project an amount of Rs. 4000 were deposited per month in bank accounts of widows for expenses.The Al-Khidmat Foundation Women’s Wing is engaged in organizing service work in women. The trust is providing services preferably in the areas of education, health, disaster management, clean water, orphan care, economic prosperity, and social service sectors.She said that the foundation is only providing financial aid to women but also educate and give awareness for their rights.”We also provide vocational training to less privileged sister in our skill development centers (SDC) which are empowering them to become a self-sufficient and productive part of our society.
