SIALKOT: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar paid a surprise visit to the Sialkot district to check administrative matters and service delivery.
He visited Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) Sambrial and checked the quality of medical facilities being provided to patients and issued instructions to the authorities concerned. The chief minister also talked to patients and inquired about the medical facilities being provided to them.
Sardar Usman Buzdar also visited a model police station in Sambrial and inspected the front desk. He also checked the police station lockup and talked with the detainees there. He asked them about the problems being faced in the lockup.
The CM ordered for completion of under-construction model police station building at the earliest.
Later, Usman Buzdar visited the Land Record Centre Sambarial. He reviewed the facilities being provided to the public and listened to their complaints. He directed the officers concerned to solve problems of the complainants coming to the offices.
Later, the CM visited the District Jail Sialkot and DC Complex.
Punjab Minister for Prisons and a spokesperson for the Punjab government Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan, Punjab Minister for Special Education Chaudhry Muhammad Ikhlaq, Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Punjab Investment Board and Trade Ahsan Saleem Baryar and Deputy Commissioner Tahir Farooq were also present.
