MULTAN:Commissioner Multan Division Dr. Irshaad Ahmed directed the district administrations to set up more Shelter centers in each district to ensure maximum relief to the deserving people.
In a directive issued here on Friday, the commissioner said that the Panahgah center was a practical step towards the welfare of deserving people under the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision for a welfare state.
He said that a total of nine shelter centers are functioning across the region where 227 persons were being accommodated.
He said that one more center should be established in each district by September 15 in order to facilitate more people.
Dr. Irshaad said that he would personally visit these welfare centers to monitor facilities provided to the people.
He directed all district administrations of the region to ensure the best arrangements in these centers.
