ISLAMABAD:Sindh and Balochistan earned victories in the matches of the Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) Blind Cricket Twenty20 Super League being played at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Cricket Stadium, Abbottabad.
In the first match, Sindh beat Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by seven wickets. In the morning KP won the toss and decided to bat first.
Sindh bowling didn’t allow KP batsmen to bat fluently.
KP team made 156 runs in allotted 20 overs for the loss of 6 wickets. Anees Javed was their top scorer with unbeaten 72* runs.
Shahzeb Haider was the pick amongst the bowlers, he took four wickets.
In reply, Sindh team’s captain Muhammad Akram once again shined with the bat and played a superb inning of unbeaten 80* runs, helped his side to beat KP by 7 wickets.
Moeen Aslam was the second highest scorer with unbeaten 51* runs. Sindh reached the tiny total of 157 in 17.5 overs by losing their three wickets. Muhammad Akram was declared Man of the Match.
Balochistan beat Punjab by five wickets in the second match. Balochistan won the toss and asked Punjab to take guard. Punjab posted competitive total of 200 runs on the board for the loss of 7 wickets in allotted 20 overs.
Mati Ullah played beautifully for his 107 runs and Muhammad Rashid scored 53 runs. Babar Ali fetched three wickets while Ehtisham ul Haq claimed two wickets for Balochistan.
The target of 201 runs wasn’t proved tough to the robust batting lineup of Balochistan and they chased down quite easily in 17.3 over for the loss of 5 wickets. Mohsin was the top scorer for Balochistan who scored unbeaten 37* runs while Faisal Mehmood and Badar made 32 and 31 respectively.
Matiullah, Shahzeb, Arslan and Naeeam Ullah claimed a wicket apiece. Mati Ullah was declared Man of the Match.
