Sindh wins national mixed martial arts tournament

KARACHI:Athletes from Sindh province have won the mixed martial arts national tournament.

According to a communique here on Tuesday, eight athletes were awarded gold, silver and browns medals and honorary belts on their triumph.

The tournament was organized by Pakistan mixed martial arts federation in collaboration with the CEO of SA Garden Malik Shoaib in Lahore in which more than 20 players from all over the country participated.

Asif Khan Achakzai was awarded gold medal and Rs500,000, Naseer Khan, Jahangir Jahanzeb, Haider and others were awarded silver and browns medals.

Sindh mixed martial arts association’s president Qutbuddin Zarini congratulated the successful athletes and said that the trend of competition inspired the players to move forward.
