PESHAWAR:Special Assistant to the Khyber Pakhtukhwa Chief Minister on Industries, Abdul Karim on Wednesday said the government has started special package for promotion of small and medium enterprises in the province.
He was addressing a meeting regarding provision of interest free loans to industrial sector here. The meeting among others was attended by Managing Director TEVTA, Bank of Khyber and concerned officials of minerals and finance departments.
He also directed officials to expedite provision of loans to medium and small scale enterprises. He said that cabinet has approved various schemes of provincial government and State Bank under which interest free loans of one million to 20 million rupees would be provide to small and medium enterprises.
The CM aide urged stakeholders of mining sector to take benefit of these schemes and introduce modern technology in mining sector.
He said that modern technology would improve output of mining sector and create new opportunities of employment and growth for people.
