Lahore: Lahore Police have arrested 1, 417 people so far this year while taking action against those violating the Tenancy Act.
According to the spokesperson of Lahore Police, operations are underway in different areas of the city to implement the Tenancy Act, 1057 cases have been registered in different police stations for violations, registration of tenants is very important for identifying criminal elements and preventing crimes.
CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamiana has directed landlords to register the complete information of the tenant in the police tenant registration system, before renting out the house, the tenant’s details should be completely verified and all legal requirements should be fulfilled.
CCPO Lahore says that action will be taken against those who provide accommodation or space to criminals unlawfully or illegally. Ensure timely registration of tenants so that the movement of criminals can be effectively monitored.
