Chiniot: Assistant Commissioner Lalian Habiba Bilal on Tuesday conducted a surprise inspection of Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Lalian to review healthcare facilities, staff attendance and cleanliness arrangements.
Accompanied by Medical Superintendent Dr. Shahzad Khalil, the assistant commissioner inspected various wards, the emergency department, laboratory, medicine store and sanitation arrangements. She also checked the attendance of doctors and other staff members and reviewed the medical facilities available to patients.
Habiba Bilal interacted with patients and sought their feedback about the availability of medicines and the conduct of hospital staff. She directed the administration to ensure quality medical facilities for every patient and further improve sanitation and cleanliness across the hospital.
Dr. Shahzad Khalil briefed the assistant commissioner on hospital affairs, staff strength and available resources. Habiba Bilal expressed satisfaction with the overall performance of the hospital administration and issued directions for further improvement in healthcare and support services.
