DC inspects facilities at Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital

Sialkot: Deputy Commissioner Awais Mushtaq visited Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital to review medical facilities and arrangements under the Punjab government’s vision of effective monitoring of public hospitals and provision of quality healthcare to patients.



According to a DC Office spokesperson, the deputy commissioner inspected the radiology department, drug store and various wards. He checked the availability of medicines, their stock records and expiry dates and directed the hospital administration to ensure adequate supplies of medicines.



During the visit, he met patients and inquired about the medical facilities, medicines and other arrangements being provided to them. He also distributed fruits among the patients.



The deputy commissioner directed the hospital administration to further improve healthcare services, availability of medicines, cleanliness and other facilities, ensuring that patients’ convenience remained the top priority.
