The CEO directed the anti-dengue teams to expedite indoor and outdoor surveillance for tracing larvae and adopt appropriate remedial measures for dengue prevention in the areas which had been still left by field staff for any reason.
Dr Ijaz said that the government was providing maximum resources and facilitating the department therefore, no negligence would be allowed.
He urged the citizens to adopt precautionary measures and remove stagnant water from their homes and rooftops as most dengue larvae and mosquitos were found in air coolers, water drums and scrap items.
