Multan The district administration has intensified its crackdown on encroachments, launching a major clearance operation from Tank Chowk to Head Muhammad Wala Road on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Dr Faisal Saleem.
Joint teams of the district administration, Municipal Corporation and other relevant departments are removing illegal structures from roads, footpaths and public land to facilitate smooth traffic flow and ensure unobstructed public spaces.
Led by Assistant Commissioner City Mukarram Sultan, the teams demolished temporary and permanent encroachments, illegal sheds, raised platforms and other structures established on public property.
The deputy commissioner directed the authorities to maintain strict enforcement and take legal action against those found re-establishing encroachments on government land. He made it clear that no concession would be given to violators and directed the concerned departments to continue the operation effectively.
