Ayub Teaching Hospital awards certificates to nursing staff


Abbottabad: Ayub Teaching Hospital has reiterated its commitment to improving the quality of nursing care, enhancing professional skills of nursing staff and promoting modern training activities.



As part of these efforts, certificates were distributed among head nurses, nursing staff and nursing interns who successfully completed the Basic Life Support (BLS) course. Certificates were also awarded to staff members who participated in Nursing Instructor Training and a Poster Competition.



Nursing Director Mehtab Sikandar Khan said nursing staff played a fundamental role in providing patients with safe, effective and quality healthcare. He said the hospital would continue to focus on professional training, modern medical practices, workshops and skill development programmes to further improve patient care.



He said the Poster Competition was aimed at promoting the academic, research and creative abilities of nursing staff, adding that nursing was not limited to patient care but also required continuous learning, research, teamwork and acquisition of modern skills.



Mehtab Sikandar Khan said the Board of Governors and Nursing Division were committed to making nursing care at Ayub Teaching Hospital more effective, high-quality and patient-friendly, enabling patients from across Hazara to receive dignified and professional nursing services.
