QUETTA:Provincial Finance Minister Shoaib Noshirwani along with Education Minister Raheela Hameed Durrani and IG Police Abdul Khaliq Sheikh inaugurated the Online Complaint Website of Balochistan police on Thursday.
Additional IG Police Muhammad Saeed Khan, Commander Balochistan Constabulary Agha Muhammad Yousuf, DIG Quetta Aitzaz Ahmad Goraya, Deputy Commissioner Quetta Lieutenant (R) Saad Bin Asad and other police officers were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the ceremony, Finance Minister Mir Shoaib Noshirwani said that all available resources were being used to adapt the Balochistan Police to modern technology and deal with the current challenges.
He said that steps would be taken to promote mutual trust and cooperation between the police and the public, through which the atmosphere of cooperation and collaboration between the police and the public could be fostered.
Addressing the ceremony, the provincial education minister Ms. Raheela Durrani said that the sacrifices of the police for the m
aintenance of peace and the protection of the people were eternal and we appreciated them.
Balochistan Police has always cooperated in the protection of human rights and gender equality in province and the provincial government will take all possible measures for the improvement and facilities of the police, she maintained.
Earlier, briefing the participants, DIG Quetta Police Aitzaz Goraya said that this online website has been set up for the convenience of the public, any citizen could file a complaint online.
He said that driving license could be verified from Balochistan Police in this website, press releases to be issued through the website, in addition to this, the data of all advertising accused would also be put in the online website.
Addressing at the event, IG Police Balochistan Abdul Khaliq Sheikh said that the Balochistan Police website would not be one-sided, the Balochistan Police website would be for the convenience of the public, the design of the website has been arranged keeping in mind
the public’s thinking so that the distance between the public and the police could be further reduced.
The Balochistan Police website is a start and will be updated and updated according to the current times, I want the police to move towards modern technology, when the police head towards modern technology then we will be successful, he said.
He said that we should move towards technology for the convenience of future generation.
