Lahore: The Punjab government will provide 10,000 rickshaws to provide travel facilities to Lahorites on Basant, along with public transport travel will also be available. According to official sources, 10,000 rickshaws will be available for free travel in the city. In this regard, progress is being made on the agreement with “Yango” and “In Drive” for the provision of rickshaws. Under the agreement, both the companies will provide rickshaws for thee days. In exchange for providing rickshaws, companies will run free advertising campaigns on Basant. Rickshaws will be available in different areas of the city, citizens will not need to book rides online, but passengers will be able to travel in the city by riding a rickshaw from anywhere.
