Faisalabad: Sandal Bar police have solved a blind murder and arrested girlfriend of the slain after using latest technology.
Police spokesman said that a youth Muhammad Kamran (28) resident of New Green Town Faisalabad had reportedly illicit relations with a girl Fiza but on some issues, an altercation occurred between them.
Over this dispute, accused Fiza along with her accomplices shot dead Kamran on July 31, 2026 and threw his body to Jhang Branch Canal to conceal the evidence of the offence.
However, when passersby pointed out a human corpse in the Jhang Branch Canal near Aminpur Bungalow, the police fished it out and took into custody.
SHO Sandal Bar police station Waseem Tariq after lodging a case started investigation. The police used latest technology and traced the accused. The police arrested main accused Fiza and locked her behind bars while further investigation was under progress, spokesman added.
