Multan: Boating facilities at the historic Shah Shams Park are set to resume after a gap of nearly 15 years, offering citizens a long-awaited recreational opportunity as the running test of boats at the park’s lake has been successfully completed.
The boating facility is expected to be opened for the general public soon after completion of the remaining arrangements, allowing families, children and visitors to enjoy boating at the lake once again.
Shah Shams Park had once been among the major and popular recreational spots of Multan, attracting a large number of citizens, particularly families and children. However, the park gradually became inactive and several of its recreational facilities remained non-functional for years.
