Muzaffargarh: A 15-foot-wide breach has developed in the Zamindara Bund near the River Indus
in the Ram Pur Som-Lundi Patafi area of Jatoi tehsil, posing a threat of flooding to nearby settlements and agricultural lands, Rescue 1122 said. According to Rescue 1122, water has started entering agricultural fields through the breach, raising concerns over the possible inundation of nearby populated areas and farmland. Rescue teams immediately reached the site after receiving information and, in coordination with local police and residents, initiated precautionary and safety measures to minimize the risk to people and property.
Rescue 1122 teams, police and other relevant departments have been mobilized to contain the situation and prevent further spread of floodwater. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation, while emergency response measures are continuing at the site to protect nearby communities and agricultural land.
