Man shoots dead sister-in- law in Shahkot

Chichawatni: A man here on Monday killed his sister-in-law 30 years old over domestic dispute in Shahkot area.

The police spokesman said a man namely Ali Hassan opened fire and killed on his sister-in-law on the spot.

The accused fled away from the scene successfully, he added.

The spokesman said the police transferred the dead body to Tehsil Headquarter Hospital (THQ) for legal formalities.

The police registered a case against the accused and launched further investigation.

SSP organizes farewell ceremony for retiring Police officers

Sukkur: A grand farewell ceremony was organized by SSP Naushahro Feroze, Sanghar Malik, to honor 13 retiring police officers and personnel from Naushahro Feroze district on Monday. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Police, Shaheed Benazirabad Range, Captain (R) Parvez Ahmed Chandio, as the guest of honor.

The retiring officers and personnel include SP Abdullah Lakho, DSP Abdul Hafiz Abbasi, Inspector Nazar Hussain Mallah, Inspector Bashir Ahmed Ujan, Sub-Inspector Liaqat Ali Khoso, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Jaleel, Sub-Inspector Ghulam Nabi Rajpar, ASI Zulfiqar Rajpar, Head Constable Mahboob Ali Sial, Head Constable Mukhtiar Lohar, Constable Anwar Ali Khoso, Constable Ghulam Qadir Chandio, and Constable Atta Muhammad Tragar.

The ceremony was also attended by Deputy Commissioner Naushahro Feroze, Arslan Saleem, SP Jails, District Chairman, all Sub-Divisional Police Officers, SHOs, all Heads of Branches of SSP Office, and other police officers and personnel posted in the district.

The retiring police officers and personnel were praised for their services to the police department, and they were paid tribute for their dedication and hard work.

DIG Police Larkana takes notice of female murder

Larkana: Deputy Inspector General of Police Larkana (DIG) Nasir Aftab has taken strict notice of the case of the husband killing his wife and injuring a young man on the charge of blacking near Chattingi area of New police station of Shikarpur district on Monday.

He orders issued to bring the accused involved in the murder and wounding of the youth under the law.

DIG Larkana said. that on the case of killing his wife Musmat Sahiba Brohi and injuring Lal Bakhsh, husband Wahid Bakhsh Brohi on the charge of blacking near Chittingi area of Shikarpur police station. Taking strict notice, orders have been issued to arrest the accused involved in killing and wounding.

One day ‘Learner’s License Facilitation Camp’ held at SSC

Sukkur: On the directives of Vice Chancellor (VC), Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) Khairpur, Professor Dr. Mohammad Yousuf Khushk, the Students' Societies Center (SSC) on Monday organized a one-day facilitation camp to assist participants in obtaining learner's driving licenses.

The event took place at the SSC Training Hall and was well-received by the university community.

Under the supervision of Dr. Ali Raza Lashari and his team of volunteers, the camp ensured efficient and smooth operations. Dr. Lashari expressed his gratitude to the Vice Chancellor and DSP Abdul Qudos Kalwar for their invaluable support in making this initiative a success.

3 outlaws held; drugs, illegal arms recovered during search operation conducted in Tank

Tank: The Tank police on Monday apprehended three outlaws recovering drugs and illegal arms from their possession during search operation conducted the limits of City police station.

According to police spokesman, the district police led by District Police Officer (DPO) Aslam Nawaz Khan were utilizing all its available resources for eradication of all types of crime from the society.

As part of such efforts, a team of City police station led by SHO Mudassir Hayyat Khan under the supervision of SDPO City Circle Basharat Khan conducted a successful search operation in City area.

During the operation, the police checked 18 houses and arrested three accused namely Muhammad Mushtaq son of Qutub Din, Khanzada son of Sahib Khan and Shah Behraam son of Allah Wasaya.

The police also recovered two 30-bore pistols along with 10 cartridges, 3680 grams of hashish and 26 grams of Ice drug from them.

The police registered separate cases against the arrested accused and launched further investigations.

DPO Tank meets families of police martyrs

Dera ismail khan: District Police Officer (DPO) Tank Aslam Nawaz Khan has said that every possible support will be provided to the families of police martyrs to resolve their problems.

He expressed these views during a meeting with the police martyrs' families who called on him here on Monday.

The DPO paid tribute to the martyrs and expressed his heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with their families.

DPO Aslam Nawaz Khan stated that the police martyrs sacrificed their precious lives for the protection of the country and nation and their sacrifices would always be remembered.

He assured the families of the martyrs that the Tank Police would provide every possible support to resolve their issues and would stand by them at every step.

The DPO said the meeting was an important effort to strengthen the relationship between the police force and the families of martyrs. It served to remember the martyrs' sacrifices and reflected the strong bond between the police force and their families.
