PESHAWAR:Chairman Tehsil Pishtakhara, Haroon Siffat presented an annual budget of Rs.425.643 million for the Tehsil Council here on Thursday.
Meeting of the tehsil council held with Presiding Officer, Haji Daraz Shah in the chair. The estimated receipt for financial year is Rs.359.532 million including an income of Rs.27.06 million from own resources, share in Octroi Rs.81.920 million, Rs.8 million in head of Urban Immovable Property (UIP) tax and Rs.234.16 million in head of Provincial Finance Commission (PFC) respectively.
Out of the total budget of Rs.425.643 million, an amount of Rs.249.16 has been allocated for development and Rs.18.02 million for non-developmental expenditures respectively.
An amount of Rs.2 million have also been allocated for attracting youth towards healthy activities, Rs.2 million for study tours and Rs.3 million for entertainment purposes.
On this occasion, Tehsil Chairman, Haroon Siffat directed the Assistant Director (AD) Local Government to prepare budget for all Neighbourhood and Village Councils of Tehisl Pishtakara on the basis of the allocated budget of Rs.156.071 million for Village Councils and Neighbourhood Councils of the council and then dispatch it to his office.
On this occasion, all members of the council passed the budget through show of hands.
