Chiniot: Chiniot Police arrested 11 suspects during a 24-hour crackdown against criminal elements in different parts of the district, police said.
Five proclaimed offenders were apprehended during a targeted operation against fugitives, while six other suspects were arrested for alleged involvement in illegal gas refilling, negligent and reckless driving, electricity theft and possession of illegal weapons.
During checks through the Police Post App, police inspected 343 suspicious individuals and 431 suspicious vehicles as part of efforts to strengthen security and curb criminal activities.
Police also challaned more than 400 vehicles for traffic violations and imposed fines amounting to over Rs600,000 during the crackdown.
