Quetta: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has announced the establishment of a Government Girls’ School in Killi Babri, Hanna Urak, during his visit to the area where he offered condolences and prayers with families of martyrs.
Assistant to the Chief Minister on Information and Political Affairs Shahid Rind confirmed that administrative procedures have already begun to implement the CM’s directive. On his instructions, the Principal Secretary to the CM has issued a formal letter to the Secretary School Education, directing immediate preparation of a summary for approval.
Shahid Rind emphasized that the announcement is not merely an educational project but a gesture of solidarity with the families of martyrs and a fulfillment of the government’s promise to the local community. He noted that the new school will provide quality education facilities to girls in the area, reduce hardships for parents, and promote female education.
He further stated that the Government of Balochistan considers education the foundation of sustainable development and is committed to expanding educational opportunities in remote and underdeveloped regions. CM Bugti has reiterated his resolve that no child in the province should be deprived of the right to education.
Assistant CM added that the provincial government is taking serious steps to honor commitments made to the families of martyrs, improve public welfare, and strengthen the education sector, with relevant departments instructed to ensure swift implementation of the Chief Minister’s announcement.
