Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti on Wednesday said that the independence of Pakistan is a great blessing and a national responsibility for us, youth are the bright future of the country, providing them with opportunities for education, skills and positive activities is one of the top priorities of the government.
He said this while attending the grand Independence Day celebration at Pakistan Point on Mount Batil in Gwadar, where national spirit, cultural colors and splendid programs filled Gwadar with the joys of Independence Day.
The ceremony began with the hoisting of the national flag after the recitation of the Holy Quran.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister Balochistan hoisted the national flag. The ceremony was graced by national and national songs, Balochi cultural songs, student performances, special tableaus of the Gwadar Arts Academy and traditional Liwa dance. While the sky of Gwadar was bathed in colors with magnificent fireworks, the joys of Independence Day reached four moons.
The participation of Chinese citizens in the ceremony further highlighted the spirit of Pak-China friendship and mutual goodwill. People from different walks of life also participated in large numbers and expressed their love and attachment to the beloved homeland.
