Sargodha: Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Monday visited Dr Faisal Masood Teaching Hospital to review medical facilities, cleanliness standards, and the availability of essential medicines.
During his visit, the commissioner inspected various departments including wards, laboratories, the outdoor patient department (OPD), and the pharmacy to evaluate staff attendance and service delivery.
He interacted with patients and their relatives to inquire about quality of treatment and the provision of medicines at the facility.
Addressing the hospital administration, the commissioner directed them to ensure uninterrupted and quality healthcare services, stressing that any negligence in patient care would not be tolerated.
He stated that the provision of state-of-the-art medical facilities in government hospitals was a top priority of the Punjab government in accordance with the Chief Minister’s vision.
