Sargodha: Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Wednesday chaired a video-link meeting to review activities and progress under the ‘Apna Khet Apna Rozgar’ scheme and Suthra Punjab programme in the division.
Deputy commissioners, Additional Commissioner Coordination, Director Local Government, Additional Deputy Commissioners Revenue and Additional Deputy Commissioners Municipal Services/Managing Directors of Suthra Punjab agencies participated in the meeting.
The concerned officers briefed the Commissioner on ongoing initiatives and field-level implementation in their respective districts.
Hafiz Shaukat Ali said provision of dignified livelihood opportunities, economic self-reliance, improved civic services and a clean environment were among the government’s priorities under the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
He said the ‘Apna Khet Apna Rozgar’ scheme was aimed at providing employment opportunities and enabling people to utilise their available resources for economic empowerment.
