Bahawalpur: A man and his wife were rescued after accidentally falling into a Sutlej river while visiting the area on suburb of the city. According to the Rescue 1122, the couple had come to Sutlej river for a recreational outing and were standing near the riverbank when they suddenly slipped and fell into the water. ‘Rescue 1122 personnel responded promptly and successfully pulled both victims out of the river alive, ‘ it said, adding that both are out of danger.
