Rawalpindi:Additional District and Sessions Judge Rawalpindi sentenced convict Nafees Ahmad to death after completing trial proceedings in a murder case registered at Kotli Sattian Police Station, with ordering him to pay one million rupees in financial compensation to the victim’s legal heirs.
The case was registered in 2023, on the complaint of Tariq Mahmood, who stated that the convict along with armed accomplices opened fire on his brother, Khalid Mahmood, inflicting fatal injuries. Yhe court also ordered that in the event of non-payment, the compensation shall be recovered through the attachment and public auction of his property.
