DIR LOWER::Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr Shehzad Bangash on Tuesday held an online meeting with district administration officers of Lower Dir to assess losses incurred by the floods and payment of compensation to the affected people.
According to the district administration, the meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner, Captain (Retd) Muhammad Zubair Niazi, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jan Muhammad and Coordinator PDMA Abdullah Roghani.
The meeting was called in after completion of the damages assessment survey in the district to initiate the process of payment of compensations.
They also discussed preparation of error-free and comprehensive damages assessment report in detail.
The report was earlier delayed due to some shortcomings in survey and handed over to the PDMA for correction.
The new survey report completed and corrected by the PDMA would be sent to the Khyber Bank from where the affected people would be able to collect their compensation amount.
The district administration said the provincial government would soon start the process of payments to the flood-affected people of Lower Dir.
