Faisalabad: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Muhammad Nauman Siddique has directed the officers of district government institutions to ensure prompt and merit-based resolution of public complaints under open door policy.
He met citizens visiting his office under the open-door policy and listened to their complaints, applications and problems concerning various public matters.
He gave the applicants a patient hearing and issued necessary directions to the concerned officers for immediate redressal of their genuine grievances.
He assured that the district administration is committed to provide immediate relief and public grievances would be redressal on urgent basis.
He said that timely resolution of public complaints is among the top priorities of the district administration and no citizen would face unnecessary delays in getting relief or accessing government services.
He directed the officers concerned to examine the complaints of applicants on merit and take immediate action strictly in accordance with law and established procedures. He also emphasized that the grievances brought before the administration should be followed up effectively until their logical resolution.
He said that district administration is taking every possible measure to facilitate the public and resolve their problems through an accessible and responsive administrative mechanism.
He further directed the officers to maintain close contact with citizens and ensure that public service delivery remains transparent, efficient and focused on providing maximum relief to the people.
