Chiniot: Deputy Commissioner Chiniot Ayesha Rizwan on Sunday paid a surprise visit to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital to review medical facilities and administrative arrangements, accompanied by Chief Officer Health Dr. Saqib Munir, Medical Superintendent Dr. Altaf and other concerned officers.
During the inspection, the deputy commissioner visited various sections of the hospital, including the PAEDS ward, main entry gate and canteen, and assessed the overall condition of facilities. She directed the hospital administration to take immediate steps for further improvement, particularly in view of the increasing rush of patients.
Interacting with patients and their attendants, Ayesha Rizwan inquired about the availability of medicines and the quality of treatment being provided. Taking notice of the pressure on different wards, she issued on-the-spot instructions to the CO Health and the medical superintendent to ensure better management, improved services and enhanced patient care across the hospital.
