Chiniot: Deputy Commissioner Chiniot Ayesha Rizwan on Sunday visited the Government Islamia College Ground to review ongoing improvements, including the condition of the walking track, lighting system, seating arrangements and other civic facilities aimed at enhancing public convenience.
During the inspection, the deputy commissioner directed the Chiniot Municipal Committee (COMC) and Suthra Punjab Waste Management Company to ensure complete cleanliness of the ground and its surroundings. She also instructed the concerned departments to improve lighting along the walking track, repair and upgrade benches, address other shortcomings, and carry out plantation of quality plants to beautify the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Ayesha Rizwan emphasized that the ground should offer the best possible facilities for both women and men. She said the district administration is taking practical steps to provide citizens with a clean, safe and pleasant environment for recreation and healthy activities.
