Chiniot:Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ayesha Rizwan, accompanied by Chief Executive Officer (Education) Waqas Ahmed Gul, paid surprise visits to various government educational institutions on Jhumra Road and reviewed academic sessions, facilities, cleanliness and administrative matters.
She visited Government Girls Elementary School Talibwala, Government Girls High School Chak No. 125 JB and Government Boys High School Chak No. 125 JB in Tehsil Chiniot. During the visits, she inspected classrooms and directly inquired of students about their academic activities, studies and facilities available at the schools.
The DC assessed availability of clean drinking water, cleanliness of washrooms, proper lighting and ventilation in classrooms, student seating arrangements, general hygiene and functionality of computer labs.
She directed school heads to ensure excellent cleanliness, provision of clean water and sanitary washrooms during school hours.
She also reviewed safety measures regarding ongoing construction work at the schools and instructed that areas under construction be properly cordoned off to prevent any harm or accidents involving students.
She directed that essential repairs and whitewashing of school buildings, along with other fundamental tasks, be completed on a priority basis.
Ayesha stated that surprise visits to educational institutions across the district would continue. She said no negligence regarding provision of a quality educational environment and basic amenities to students would be tolerated, and there should be no complaints concerning improvement of educational institutions.
