Quetta: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Surab Sahibzada Najibullah on Friday directed that the ongoing projects under BSDI should be completed in a standard manner within the stipulated time and work should also be started immediately on new projects.
He said this while chairing a meeting of the District Coordination Committee (DCC), in which a detailed review of the ongoing and proposed development projects and public welfare measures under BSDI was taken.
The meeting was attended by FC Balochistan 61 Wing Commander Colonel Syed Fakhar Rafique Talha, SP Sarab Khurshid Ahmed Baloch, Assistant Commissioner Gadar Abdul Jabbar Bugti and officers from various departments.
The concerned officers gave a briefing on the development projects, problems faced and future action plan. The Deputy Commissioner directed that the ongoing projects under BSDI should be completed in a standard manner within the stipulated time and work should also be started immediately on new projects.
He said that along with providing basic facilities to the people, effective steps would also be taken to improve employment and livelihood opportunities saying that negligence in development projects would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
