Faisalabad: Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Noman Siddique has directed to complete the development schemes managed by Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) on time, clarifying that funds will be managed as per the requirements for the completion of these development schemes.
He said this during his visit to the main force line in Dawood Chowk, trunk sewer on Jhang road, Chakera main line, underground storage tank in Crescent ground and monsoon emergency relief camp at Mandi Morrh here on Friday.
WASA Managing Director Saqib Raza briefed about the CM package, Punjab development package, ponding points, and foreign funded project.
The Deputy Commissioner said that all public welfare projects should be completed as soon as possible, for which the concerned contractors should be instructed to speed up the pace of work.
DMD Operations Farhan Akram, DMD Engineering Shoaib Zia, Deputy Director Development Syed Naveed Shah and other WASA officers were also present on the occasion.
