Haripur:Deputy Commissioner Haripur Islahuddin has directed the concerned officials to ensure transparent, impartial and rules-based scrutiny of applications submitted for the establishment of new housing societies in the district.
He issued these directions while chairing a meeting of the District Scrutiny Committee held to review matters related to the establishment of new housing societies.
The meeting reviewed various applications, relevant records, documents and other related matters. The committee also examined the available record and documents in light of legal and administrative requirements and the relevant rules and regulations.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the officials to ensure completion of all legal requirements during the process and safeguard the interests of citizens. He said that proper scrutiny of housing society applications was essential for promoting planned and sustainable urban development in the district.
