Kohat: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kohat, Muhammad Nawaz, on Wednesday inspected various petrol pumps in the district under the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Fuel Relief Scheme to review the provision of petroleum products and implementation of government directives.
During the visits, the DC examined the availability of fuel, compliance with officially notified rates, measurement standards, and adherence to relevant government instructions.
He directed the concerned authorities and petrol pump operators to ensure uninterrupted fuel supply to the public and strictly follow all government guidelines related to the scheme.
Muhammad Nawaz emphasized that providing relief to citizens and ensuring transparency in the sale of petroleum products remained a top priority of the district administration.
He further instructed officials to maintain regular monitoring of petrol pumps and take necessary measures to facilitate consumers and address any complaints promptly.
He reiterated the administration’s commitment to ensuring effective implementation of the Prime Minister’s Fuel Relief Scheme and safeguarding the interests of the public.
