Kohat: Deputy Commissioner Kohat, Raheemullah Mehsood, visited Government Higher Secondary School Darra Adam Khel where he reviewed the ongoing development projects in detail. On the occasion, officials briefed him about the progress of the schemes.
According to DC office, the DC directed that all development works must be completed on time and in accordance with quality standards to ensure improved educational facilities for students.
He made it clear that no negligence or delay in construction would be tolerated.
He said that the uplift of educational institutions was a top priority of the government and all available resources were being utilized for this purpose.
He instructed the concerned authorities to maintain strict monitoring of work quality and ensure transparency in the process.
Meanwhile, on the directives of the DC, AC Kohat, Madam Nida Iqbal, conducted visits to various city markets to check the prices and quality of vegetables, fruits, meat, bakery items, and other essential commodities.
During the inspection, legal action was taken against shopkeepers found violating official price lists and maintaining poor hygiene conditions. The administration emphasized that providing quality goods at fixed rates to the public was its foremost priority and warned that strict action would continue against violators.
