Sargodha:Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmad Raza Chaudhry on Thursday directed the formulation of comprehensive and uniform standard operating procedures (SOPs) for field inspections of government institutions, public facilities and various departments across the district. He issued the directions while chairing a meeting to review and improve the district’s inspection system.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Headquarters Ahmad Mughees, CEO Health Dr Kashif Nabeel and officers of other concerned departments attended the meeting.
The meeting reviewed the existing procedures for field visits and inspections by different departments and discussed the formulation of a uniform checklist, clear parameters, reporting mechanism and follow-up system.
The deputy commissioner directed all departments to develop practical SOPs for inspecting institutions under their respective jurisdictions so that responsibilities of field officers and inspection findings could be clearly documented.
He said officers should visit institutions in the field and assess their performance, cleanliness, facilities being provided to the public, available resources, staff attendance and compliance with government directives.
