DC reviews development, flood response during visit to Kot Momin


Sargodha: Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmad Raza Chaudhry visited tehsil Kot Momin to inspect ongoing development projects, sanitation measures, healthcare facilities and flood-affected areas.



According to the spokesperson for the DC office here, the DC reviewed progress on the Kot Momin Interchange Road Beautification Project and expressed dissatisfaction over the pace of work.



He directed the departments concerned to complete the project within the stipulated timeframe while ensuring high standards of quality, aesthetics and durability.



Inspecting activities under the Suthra Punjab programme, he stressed that negligence in sanitation would not be tolerated. He instructed officials to maintain cleanliness in the city, markets and major roads at all times, ensure daily monitoring of sanitation operations and take action against those responsible for poor performance.



Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry also inspected several drainage channels and reviewed arrangements for desilting and stormwater disposal.



Officials were directed to ensure timely cleaning of all drains and keep the drainage system fully operational to prevent waterlogging during rainfall.



Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Ghulam Sarwar, Assistant Commissioner Kot Momin Mohsin Dhillon and officials of the Suthra Punjab Agency accompanied the Deputy Commissioner during the visit.
