DC visits special Education, Rehabilitation Centre Sakrand

Hyderabad: Deputy Commissioner, Shaheed Benazirabad Abdul Samad Nizamani, accompanied by Member Sindh Assembly Ghulam Qadir Chandio and Regional Director Special Education Nisar Ahmed Brohi, visited Sakrand to inspect the under-construction building of Special Education and Rehabilitation Centre, as well as Public Library and Public Park.



During the visit, officers of concerned departments briefed delegation on the progress of ongoing development projects, including the pace, quality and overall status of construction work.



Deputy Commissioner directed concerned authorities to ensure that all projects are completed within the stipulated timeframe while maintaining highest construction standards.



He emphasized that any negligence or substandard work in public welfare projects would not be tolerated. Speaking on the occasion, Member Provincial Assembly (MPA), Ghulam Qadir Chandio said that Government of Sindh was taking practical steps to provide better educational, social and recreational facilities to public. He said that Special Education and Rehabilitation Centre would play a vital role in education, training and rehabilitation of persons with disabilities, while modern Public Library and Park would provide valuable learning and recreational opportunities, particularly for youth and children.



Deputy Commissioner relevant officers to ensure timely completion of projects and maintain strict quality standards so that public could benefit from these facilities at the earliest. Among those present on the occasion were Assistant Commissioner Sakrand Rameez Raja, Principal Special Education Centre Abdul Rahim Tanwari, and other concerned officials.
