HYDERABAD:The Sindh School Education and Literacy Department has issued an explanation notice to District Education Officer (Primary), Hyderabad, warning that delay beyond 3 days in her reply will elicit disciplinary action.

According to an explanation notice issued by the department’s Section Officer Iqbal Junejo on Monday, the DEO Primary Uzma Khombho was earlier twice issued letters to provide details of the official vehicles which were under the use of her office.

The first notice was served on May 27 and the second one on June 4 but she allegedly failed to submit a reply to those letters.

“This act is tantamount to misconduct under Sindh Civil Servants (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 1973,” the Section Officer cautioned.

He further warned that if she did not reply in 3 days disciplinary action would be initiated against her.
