DERA ISMAIL KHAN:The district police claimed to have seized non custom paid (NCP) items worth over Rs 2.4 million during checking of several vehicles here on bypass road.
According to the Police spokesman, following the directions of District Police Officer (DPO) Abdul Rauf Babar Qaisrani, SDPO Saddar Circle Muhammad Saleem Balcoh along with special task force acting on a tip-off inspected several vehicles.
During checking, the police recovered 92 sacks of plastic bags, 105 cartons of Bubble gum, 145 cartons milk cream and others.
The estimated worth of the recovered goods was around Rs 2,433,000 which were later handed over to the customs authorities for further legal action.
