Quetta: District Health Officer (DHO) Gwadar Dr. Abdul Latif Dashti on Monday said that improving the quality of health centers and providing facilities to public is the top priority of the district administration.
He said this while visiting various Basic Health Units (BHUs) Gwadar to review performance of staff and provision of health facilities.
The DHO also checked the attendance of the staff, records of the BHUs and performance of officers during the visit so that quality of health facilities would make better for the interest of patients,
He also ensured provision of medicines in these BHUs so that people would not suffer difficulties during treatment.
Such inspection would continue to ensure transparency and efficiency in the health system,he added.
These measures will not only strengthen the health system but also ensure the provision of quality health facilities to the people of Gwadar, he mentioned.
