Quetta: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Loralai Range, Junaid Ahmed Sheikh, has emphasized that the protection of citizens’ lives and property remains the foremost priority of Balochistan Police. He noted that in light of current circumstances, the force is enhancing its professional preparedness to ensure timely response and effective security measures.
The DIG expressed these views during his visit to District Ziarat, where he met with police personnel. Superintendent of Police (SP) Ziarat, Abdul Malik Durani, accompanied him during the tour.
During inspections of the police lines and various sections of the local police station, DIG Sheikh reviewed security arrangements and overall operational readiness. SP Durani provided a detailed briefing on the law and order situation and ongoing security measures in the district.
Addressing officers and personnel, DIG Junaid Ahmed Sheikh directed them to remain fully vigilant and to discharge their duties with utmost professionalism in line with the devised security plan to counter potential terrorist threats. He praised the morale, dedication, and services of the police force, reaffirming that no effort will be spared in maintaining peace and thwarting the malicious designs of extremist elements.
He further said that Balochistan Police is prepared to utilize all available resources for the establishment of peace, prosperity, and stability in the province, even if it requires the ultimate sacrifice of laying down their lives in the line of duty.
