Lahore: The distribution of Olive Green uniforms has begun in Lahore Police.
The SP Headquarters reviewed the arrangements of the uniform warehouse at Qila Gujar Singh Police Lines. DSP Headquarters, RI Line, Line Officer, In-charge Uniform Warehouse and other police officers were also present on this occasion.
The schedule for distribution of new uniforms among police officers, jawans and women police personnel has also been issued.
According to the schedule, the police personnel of the City Division will be provided with uniforms from the Police Lines Uniform Warehouse on August 17 and 18, while the Cantt Division will be provided with uniforms from the Police Lines Uniform Warehouse on August 19 and 20.
Uniforms will be distributed to the personnel of the Civil Lines Division on August 21 and 22, Model Town Division on August 24, Iqbal Town Division on August 26 and 27, while the personnel of the Saddar Division will be distributed on August 28 and 29.
Uniforms will be provided to the Security Division on August 31 and September 1, Mujahid Squad and Flying Squad on September 2 and 3, while ARF, Lines Security Duty and MT Wing personnel will be provided with uniforms on September 4 and 5.
Uniforms will be distributed to the personnel of the Guards, Squads and Gunmen on September 7 and 8, while uniforms will be distributed to the personnel of offices and other police personnel on September 9 and 10.
SP Headquarters has directed the Incharge Uniform Warehouse Rana Sadaqat to ensure timely supply of uniforms to the police personnel. According to police officials, 30, 000 uniforms have been provided by the Logistics Branch for the Lahore Police.
