Sargodha: Deputy Medical Superintendent (DMS) Dr Inayatullah has said that all major healthcare facilities have been provided at Dr Faisal Masood Teaching Hospital Sargodha, while steps are being taken to further improve services for patients.
Addressing a ‘Meet the Press’ programme at the Union of Journalists Company Bagh office here on Wednesday,Dr Inayatullah said the doors of Medical Superintendent (MS) Dr Khawaja Sohail and other focal persons remained open for patients and citizens facing difficulties in accessing healthcare services.
He appealed to citizens through the media to approach the hospital administration with their concerns and problems so that timely steps could be taken for their resolution.
The DMS Dr Inayatullah said facilities were being provided to patients at key service points of the hospital, including the X-ray centre, emergency ward, MRI and laboratory.
He said efforts were also underway to further improve cleanliness and other facilities at the hospital.
He assured the participants that their complaints would be addressed after obtaining necessary approval from the Medical Superintendent.
Union of Journalists President Sheikh Muhammad Rizwan, General Secretary Abdul Wahab Chaudhry, Group Leader Khalid Asghar Sheikh, Joint Secretary Abdul Ghaffar Bhatti, Information Secretary Mudassar Abbas Pasha, former Vice President Mian Maqsood-ul-Hassan and Chairman Abdul Samad Shaheen addressed the gathering and welcomed the chief guest.
Dr Imtiaz Sheikh, Umar Chaudhry, Ejaz, Dr Saeed Goindi, Qamar Qureshi and a large number of union members also attended the event.
