Faisalabad: A new welfare agreement between Regional Police Faisalabad and Country Plus Foods has opened a dedicated discount facility for police personnel and their families, offering up to 50 percent relief on food items and extending enhanced concessions to the families of police martyrs and officers who died during service.
According to police spokesman Rizwan Bhatti, Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sohail Akhtar Sakhira and Country Plus Foods Manager Mohsin Naseer signed the welfare agreement at a ceremony held in Faisalabad.
Under this agreement, families of police martyrs will be entitled to 50 percent discount on Country Plus Foods products while families of police officers and officials who died during service will receive 40 percent discount.
Presently serving and retired police officers and personnel will be provided 30 percent discount on the company’s food products, spokesman added.
The special discount facility would be available at Country Plus Foods’ Sahulat Bazaar on Jhang Road Faisalabad and Sahulat Bazaar at Kalma Chowk Jhang, spokesman added.
Speaking on the occasion, RPO Sohail Akhtar Sakhira said that Regional Police Faisalabad was continuing its collaboration with different institutions and organizations to strengthen welfare facilities for police officers, personnel and their families.
Welfare and well-being of police personnel and their families is top priority and such collaborative initiatives could provide practical support to the police community in addition to helping families of officers particularly who had sacrificed their lives in the line of duty, he added.
