Faisalabad: A fire gutted an electronics and utensils shop in the city’s main bazaar on Wednesday.
According to rescue officials,the fire was apparently triggered by a short circuit in the shop’s electrical switchboard, which rapidly engulfed the premises.
Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the scene and brought the blaze under control after hectic firefighting efforts.
No casualties were reported in the incident.However,the shop owner suffered heavy financial losses as the entire stock was destroyed.
